I like GGG and I think he is a great guy and good at what he does. I don't think he beat Jacobs and I don't think he can beat Charlo. I actually think Charlo will knock him out.

Every champion has to face there mandatory.
And if derivychencko is golovkins mando and golovkin is not going to face in the time stipulated then he stands the risk of being stripped and thats whats happened.

Very hard to keep all the sanctioning bodies happy when you have all the belts these days and sooner or later your going to get stripped and with golovkin only fighting two times a year now its impossible to fight all the mandos for those 3 belts...simple maths

2) Golovkin could have accepted Saunders offer to fight in June, if he had accepted that offer, Golovkin would currently be on the verge of unifying the division.....

unification > mando, so Golovkin would still have the IBF belt

and btw, the result of accepting that offer was an opportunity for Gennady to land his " dream "..... instead, he selected Vanes, resulting in his dreams being crushed

3) Golovkin could simply agree to the same terms he happily accepted last time, and fight Canelo..... the WBC will ONLY force the mando IF Golovkin refuses to be reasonable with Canelo.....

4) he could have fought Derevyanchenko..... /problem

1) waste a valuable fight date

2) create an impossible log-jam for September

3) OBVIOUSLY, kill a much better fight down the line

Who cares about Belts at this point, the only title that matters come from a damn magazine/website. This debacle is just proving that you need to **** can these ABC orgs and merge them all back together so their is a ONE linear org and just establish feeder orgs for up and coming fighters.
