Well that's what he should do now, take the 60/40 that GBP offered now. It's bad enough he got his belt stripped. If he somehow left the offer GBP put for him on the table it would be really, really bad. He would have to change his name to Triple L taking losses left and right.

It was actually a good negotiating ploy because by getting Oscar to say no 50/50 for Canelo, it set the negotiating anchor at 50%. So now if Oscar moves too far below it, it looks like Canelo doesn't want the fight. Oscar saves face by not giving 50%, Golovkin gets a little more and the fight gets made.
