    Tit for tat.

Let's be fair and reasonable here.
He should take a more befeating pay day to fight beeazeale. Hearn is a low ball promoter. Wilder should go cash in with beeazeale fight. Simple.

We know he has a date in September. We know he has been offered more than $12.5m.
how do you know hes been offered more than 12.5mil where have you read of the details of this new offer by hearn?

      • Do people on this board really believe that 12.5 flat fee was a final offer from hearn??????

Are u people in need of medical attention? Yes i would say. Parker was given a percentage so wilder has also been offered a percentage, the holdup is not about that, its about something else. Maybe its about whether its 35% or 40%, maybe rematch options, or maybe something else entirely. Maybe wilder is not keen on going to the uk at all, who the **** knows, until they tell us.

But it is NOT about some flat fee offer that is ancient history. Let them sort it out and when the fight is made or not, the end game offer can be analyses and fault argued on it.

Its like the golovkin canelo negotiations, nothing is final until the fat lady sings (ie) the fighters sign to fight someone else

Hearn stated he sent an improved offer to Wilder over 2 weeks ago.

Wilder has not run and leaked the details to the press this time so I think it's fair to presume it's not a bad offer?

            • Basically, if hearn offers 35-40 to wilder and the fight doesnt get made in the uk, its wilders fault. If hearn doesnt offer 35-40 and the fight doesnt get made, its joshuas fault

I think the fight gets made and all this is just the usual stuff, same as golovkin canelo, all standard stuff as far as i can see

Wilder isnt giving up anything because there's nothing to give up without AJ. It's Joshua who brings that money to a Vegas fight hence why he has the guarantee.

Wilder must accept a UK offer or not fight at all and instead go and try earn some money elsewhere. Maybe he fancies his chances against Fury instead? But with his track record of avoiding live opponents I doubt it.

We also don't know what Wilder makes in the possibility of it not generating enough to be a 50/50 split in Vegas, maybe he's only being guaranteed half of what Hearn is offering him for a UK fight?

                • Yet again wilder nut huggers are forgetting

                  Wilder is giving up nothing

                  He makes 1.5m without Joshua

Joshua makes 20m with or without wilder

Wilder needs to stop ducking and sign, he has an offer better than his last offer of 12.5m, accept and let’s get this fight made

I like how people talk wilder is giving up us money, he can go and fight in the uk then let’s see uk make 20-25m dollars like he would make vs Joshua

He literally said take it or leave it

"And no one is quite sure when the next one will be thrown, or even if it will be delivered by one of the fighters.

On Monday night, Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, made an offer to Al Haymon, adviser to Wilder, for a fight at an unspecified site at a date yet to be determined. The only definitive piece of information in Hearn’s offer was the amount of money he is willing to offer Wilder: $12.5 million.

And with the offer comes a caveat: Take it or leave it.

“If they don’t want it, we’ll fight our mandatory,’’ Hearn told THE RING by telephone on Tuesday morning.

But he added this somewhat encouraging caveat: “If they don’t accept it, the fight’s not dead. It just means we’re going to fight Alexander Povetkin next, and we’ll talk again in December, or February or March of next year.’’"

Then when they came up with the 50 million, Hearn changed his tune and went back to the table.

Whether or not they are offering an actual % is speculative on your part. No one knows what he's being offered right now, but if Hearn says the fight does 40 million in the UK then it could only be so much "relatively speaking" in comparison to what he's betting he's gonna make on the US offer. If its a % its not the 40 he asked for.
