I have never said Golovkin is worthy of 50/50 with Canelo. Canelo is clearly the A side. That said, if Golovkin feels he is worthy of 50/50 so be it. I do not agree and I do not think most do. However he can do better than 30 or 35%, I think that was absolutely reasonable. Of course the moron hater fraction said no. Many of them also said he should accept a flat fee for the first fight. He already has GBP at 40% for the rematch again showing the hater crowd their lack of any wisdom.

I personally do not care about belts. I am not saying they have no value. They definitely help unknown fighters but by in large they aren't that significant in terms of making the real money in boxing.
