Now he’ll never unify he should just fight Charlo and show he’s either the baddest mofo in the division or he’s not.
Wrong, he was stripped CAUSE he did not adhere to the conditions set forth by the IBF, simple.....too bad for GGG, his work is cut out for him. I agree with the statement about Charlo, GGG needs to show everybody what it is

So having all the belts, and Canelo being a "business man" and he fights for "legacy over money" was all talk?

Pussie g is a fraud. Seriously two top contenders at 160 and arguably lost them both, know knock outs or dominant performances against either Jacobs or Canelo.

And you still want him chasing Canelo?? Wasted all this time trying to fight Canelo now is still trying to go that route? If no Canelo it's Charlo or give that belt up like a true bytch as well.

In retrospect, how unwise was it to insist on fighting May 5th, if he needed more time to prepare for Derev, why not end of May or June?

Funny how Canelo fans are trying to spin this as if it's the same thing. Canelo only had 1 belt hence 1 mandatory and he ducked it and moved down a weight class. Not the same thing at all.
He wouldn't be stripped necessarily. He could apply to either body for an exception, citing he has to fight the other body's mandatory. The WBC would've been more willing to grant, imo.

He was always going to get stripped by the IBF regardless, because he was looking for the money with a Canelo fight, instead of negotiating with his mandatory.

the only recent topic was..... why is Golovkin refusing a deal that he had already accepted..... when it is PLAINLY OBVIOUS to EVERYONE that he does not deserve 50%

we are not laughing at Golovkin

we are laughing at his silly fanbase..... who thought that ducking your mando is acceptable, so they made silly excuses..... and who also thought that making ridiculous demands specifically designed to kill that fight was acceptable, so they made some more silly excuses lol

Golovkin got exactly what he deserved

          1) you have to fight your mando
          2) a supposed top fighter should not be allowed to cherry-pick NO-HOPER'S, and then lay claim to breaking records

I'm laughing at both. GGG has nobody to blame but himself.

This is still dumb regardless of that the fact that he was stripped.

Who fights a mandatory on 5 weeks notice? And what kind of person thinks that's a good reason to strip someone?

Why does a fighter have to start out fighting the very worst of the worst and only move up in tiny baby steps. The fact he won a title in his third fight, only proves he deserved it. Boxing isn't supposed to be some lifetime achievement award. By the time a boxer has "earned" his title shot, he's wasted the first half of his prime.

Floyd fought for a title less than two year after turning pro. He was 21 years old. Loma wasted years in the amateurs. The reason there aren't many two-time boxing Olympic gold medalists, is because most turn pro after their first. Loma was 26 when he first fought for a title.

Champions should fight the best. I don't care about how many fights someone has, I care about how good they are. It could be a 22 year old with a normal amateur background, and a couple years of easy pro fights, it could be a 33 year old multi-division champ, it could be a 26 year old in his second fight. The best fight the best. That is what champions are supposed to do and what fans should demand.

Spence woulda broke Brook's face years ago. What did JoJo Dan, Bizier, and Frankie Gavin do to "earn" their title shots, while Spence was kept waiting?
Hey...I agree. The other guy said Dervy didn't deserve a shot cuz he only has 12 fights.

I understand that without mandatories a title can be held hostage. or fighters who Deserve a title shot can be overlooked.
But seriously, how many worlds are there to be the champion of. Golovkin is bigger than the belts. He is the world middleweight champion with or without the red strap.

                    forget that.....

FACT: when Saunders stated that he will be ready in June, there was only one fight to make

                    a unification > a mandatory

Munguia should never have been mentioned..... neither should Spike..... and neither should Vanes lol

if they had fought Saunders..... /problem

Golovkin would then have been able to fight Canelo in September

but, thats right..... they killed that fight with ridiculous demands as well

fk Team Easy-Way-Out..... for bull****ing their fans, and for bull****ing boxing

translation, you're a fan boy loser who thinks he's the message board police for any who oppose his man crush Canelo. You clearly have nothing better to do when on punishment. Did your mom Take away your fortnite?
