Comments Thread For: Horn: I Didn't Get Respect I Probably Deserve For Pacquiao Win

As for who won, I had Pac winning cleary in a very ugly sloppy fight. I never need commentary to help me decipher what Im seeing with my own eyes. Horn roughed him up, out muscled and out wrestled Pac, but this is boxing not wrestling. It was was pretty much Mayweather vs. Maidana 1 all over again except Horn was dirtier and May complained and retaliated when he had to.
Pac's problem is that he's way too nice in the ring. It was more than just the headbutts, there were head locks, Horn pushing his head down & leaning on him, holding and hitting. I feel like any other fighter would have retaliated at some point or complained to the ref. I never see Pac do anything but smile or touch gloves. Pac should have started thowing d!ck punches with ferocity every time horn locked him up or leaned on him, but he's too sportmanlike. I think all the rough ******* and wrestling with a bigger heavier man wore Pac down & for the 1st time i saw pac visibly exhausted after that 9th round walloping he gave Horn.Comment

Horn didn't get respect for 2 reasons. 1. Pacquiao is a lower tier welterweight at this point in his career. And 2. He didn't really win the fight.Comment

Im not a fan of pac or horn, but once he gets destroyed by crawford.. he should face pac again.. bc crawford is about to make him look like a fluke!Comment

This would be in 2 parts.
First, manny respects him in any event, it’s the kinda man he is.
Secondly, the public/fans etc in my opinion give him respect for remaining upright and that’s all.
Pac-Man won the fight hands down but horn gave a very good account of himself against an ageing but very able Manny Pacquiao.Comment
