How do you see Canelo vs Jacobs playing out?

Canelo should be a slight favorite but I think Danny shows up when it's a big fight. Not sure what to think...

Jacobs will school him. The guy can't fight mobile targets very well. Jacobs can punch. As long as they are tested for drugs Canelo will lose every round. Whether Jacobs is handed the decision now is another matter.

Jacobs should have a great shot of beating Canelo if he boxes and uses his length and makes it a long fight but I don't believe Golden Boy will take this risk, he will probably fight Spike

I'll eat crow if Canelo fights Jacobs. Golovkin was a dangerous opponent, but completely the right style for Canelo, which we saw in that fight. Jacobs is taller, longer, rangier, and will likely be the first time in 5+ years that Canelo faces a guy who's bigger than him.

I used to love Canelo. After PED bust, not so much. Fighting someone like Jacobs or BJS, someone who's a difficult style for him and a dangerous opponent, will go a long way towards getting my (fan's) respect back.

Very true, But Jacobs has the reach, height, footwork, length and power to give Canelo alot of problems although Canelo has the edge in handspeed and defensive prowess.

Let us see what Clean-ello looks like before we decide. Clen-ello would have been a tough match for Jacobs, though I would have slightly favored the long arms of Jacobs over the quick counters of Alvarez.

Probably the same way every Alvarez fight goes when he fights legit competition. It will be close, controversial, and involve at least one judge who was bought before the opening bell.
