Crawford is the Kawhi Leonard of boxing. the guy don't talk. ppl saying he should be more outspoken to make more money probably have a point but maybe Bud is comfortable making what he's making now. not everybody needs Floyd type money to be happy. the guy is satisfied being in his own lane.

If that's the case then he shouldn't be upset for lack of promotion. I remember last year he was upset on the views one of his fights got on ESPN and was complaining the lack of promotion for him. There's reason why Loma is the one getting all the Top Rank promoting and Loma embraces it. Could be Arum just isn't that good at promoting black fighters, look at Floyd, he was playing second fiddle to Oscar under Arum just like Bud is playing second fiddle to Loma.

Bud is still going to do promo, just not with Australian media. I assume this is Bud having a bad experience with an Aussie outlet and is flexing. Only thing I can think of.

I see, thanks for clarifying, I should’ve went over the article more carefully. To be honest though I haven’t seen much of Crawford as of late, I’ve been wondering how he’s adapted to the new weight but haven’t seen much of anything aside from a top rank promo.

When hagler was in “prison” he literally had no contact with anyone aside from the guys in his training camp. He was 100 percent devoted to conditioning himself for his opponent. Lack of media exposure didn’t stop him from reaching stardom, however his rise was anything but easy.

Those fighters are open to talk to the media whether it be in broken English or their language. Bud don't talk and then goes out and bans certain media from talking to him. That's why I don't get this, all fighters need a promoter thing. There's top fighters with promoters who don't sell ****. The fighter needs to sell himself and not complain about not getting exposure when he's the one not making himself available to media outlets.

I totally agree, Bud should be the biggest superstar in boxing! Can you imagine if he was from LA or New York or if he was from the UK or Mexico!
