LMFAO..the only fighter worth mentioning on that resume is Lara. Cotto was wayyyyyy past his expiration date, proven by Ali whopping his azz. Trout? LMFAO, who only beat Cotto as well..

The Trump supporters will say that Loma's Roman Martinez win is legendary and that Shane Mosley for Canelo means nothing and then in another thread they'll say Mikey Garcia's Roman Martinez win isn't s**t.

      They're just delusional hypocrites.

My apologies to the Lomafako nuthugging crowd but Alvarez' body or work is just better. Plus, he doesn't have a loss to an Orlando Salido caliber fighter.

I don't know about that, if we talking about wins then Loma takes it

          Loma:
          GRJ (very good win)
          Rigo (good win)
          Martinez (average win)
          Walters (very good win)
          Linares (great win)
          Sosa (average win)

          Canelo
Lara (very good but questionable win)
          Trout (Average win)
          Cotto (good win)

Stopping Rigo, Walters, Linares, and schooling GRJ is more impressive IMO.

I thought all of those Alvarez wins were questionable.

The Lara fight could've went either way. I scored it for Lara, but 7-5 either way or a draw would've been fine by me.

I never bothered watching the Trout fight. I should take a look because there seems to be some mixed reviews about it.
I had it 8-4 to canelo btw on the cotto fight. But many felt it was more like 7-5. In my eyes, like I said I didnt see a dominant win. I felt like Canelo did the enough to win rounds

When i saw last fights of Loma i felt he really tried to dominate his opponents. And we see the result form his last fight , he KOed a bigger and experienced(pro) guy

                  A controversial decision.
Top 3 wins. Cotto. LaPorto. MD against Tapia.

Skewed comparison, both started at different ages and had different goals. Canelo was geared towards stardom, Loma was looking to fight the best. Loma’s amateur pedigree and his short tenure in the pro ranks still dwarfs most resumes.

Not even close. Loma has handled his top competition, often times embarrassing them. Canelo has pulled out a few really close wins.
