I was wondering if Loma had thought about trying to pick up a strap from the weakest title holder at 140, just to be the fastest to win titles in 4 divisions. (I've got no idea who will own what at 140 in the next year or so, with people moving up and down).

I'd much rather see him unify 135 though. There are some good fights there, and I think he can really build on his legacy.

He's already tied fastest for first title and is fastest to two and three so not sure how many more records like that he wants. I guess if Flanagan beats Hooker he'll fight mediocre competition for a couple years so maybe go to England for that one after unifying at 135?

I'd rather he just stay at 135 and dominate that. If he's at 140 we'll miss out seeing him near his best ability. He has Garcia and then after he has all the belts Davis, Garcia and possibly Haney would all have to go through him. I much prefer dominance in one division and being a great fighter there than multi-weight division hopping grabbing titles here and there.

Can't argue with that, he looked smaller than Linares. The boogeyman of 135 right now is Mikey and I think he will comfortably beat Easter. I thought Easter lost his fight against Fortuna. However, Easter due to his height can make it difficult. Hopefully we see Mikey/Loma in 2019.

Yeah, lots of great fights for him at 135. On top of the ones you mentioned, a rematch with Linares would also be worth watching.

I agree, I'd rather see him reign as king of 135 for the majority of his remaining career.

Loma will carry on as boxing as number one pound for pound fighter in the world once GGG retires. Loma and GGG are both dominant but GGG is slowing down and Loma right now is in his top prime.

                Pound for pound 2020

                1. Loma
                2. Inoue
                3. Bivol
                4. Garcia
                5. Usyk
                6. Thurman
                7. Beterbiev
                8. Fury
                9. Gassiev
                10 Crawford

LOMO VS M. GARCIA at 135. GARCIA already said he would move back down.

Good decision. That's where he should finish up his career. It's also a strategic gate to wait for the good fighters moving up from superfeather. JWW would be way too much weight for Loma and maybe beaten by average JWW based just on sheer size. Stay put.

                    Speedy recovery, champ!

don't know about that. Loma looked like in the linares fight a 12 year old fighting his father. he is barely big enough for 130
