Canelo was gifted a draw in a fight he clearly lost, tested positive for PEDs twice, and pulled out of the biggest fight of the year costing GGG precious time as he nears the end of his good years, not to mention tons of money.

Canelo can make a lot of money without Golovkin, but he'll make the MOST money right now WITH Golovkin. So De La Hoya needs to suck it up and take the even split.

Like Oscar said, this is about drawing power, of which Canelo is the top draw any day of the week. GGG and his fans are delusional if there are actual thoughts and beliefs a 50/50 will ever happen.

GGG would literally retire with half the war chest if he doesn't wake up and sign at 65/35 or 60/40. Not only his loss, but a big loss for the sport and the fans as well.
