I really wouldn't notice of canelo dropped off the map at this point.

How long before another fighter out of mexico breaks through and canelo's entire fanbase abandons him the very next day? He needs to milk it while it's there.

He isn't famous for his astounding career. He's just the current #1 mexico guy.

That fight was considered an investment in Canelos future to put him in the position hes in now. With that being said, Canelo is squandering that luxury because he's losing credibility with fans due facing mainly mismatched opponents since beating cotto, to the positive test & the ggg rematch falling through
Think you're forgetting about one con****uous fighter...

The Golovkin fight did a bigger gate and a higher pay-per-view buyrate.

Exactly!!!! Great point!!!...So GGG doesn’t deserve at least 50% when the 1st fight was a draw and Canelo was the one the got suspended. SMH!!!

GGG deserves at least a bit more than what he got in the first fight. I think 60-40 would be fair. GGG arguably won the first fight as well as Canelo failing drug test. GGG deserves to get more than the first fight at the least.

He’s trying to buy GGG’s titles with GGG’s money. GGG should be pushing for a fight in Kazakhstan. He could sell out a huge potassium quarry there. Bigger numbers than AJ

Just move on. The first fight didnt produce any fireworks anyway.

I'd rather see canelo vs jacobs and ggg vs charlo.

In an interview I saw today on YouTube DLH said something like: "as long as we move away from 50/50". Well, I guess 51/49 would be insulting even though technically in line with what DLH said, but 55 or 60 in Canelo's favour might work perhaps for GGG. That 50/50 offer could have been a negotiating tactics. Or better yet, make it conditional depending on who wins or if it is another draw. Although that is dangerous because it will incentivize another Adelaide Byrd-like scoring and we all know in whose favour. Unless they fight in Kazakhstan or Russia

I think he meant now dummy. He gave up splits over Cotto and Floyd which is well documented.
