Chavez jr did better numbers vs canelo than cotto did but didn't have the ppv leverage cotto had. When people look back at Chavez vs Whitaker or holyfield vs Lewis 1, nobody discredits Whitaker or Lewis for those performances because everyone knows who really won despite the judges. Canelo was gifted a draw in a fight he clearly lost, tested positive for PEDs twice, and pulled out of the biggest fight of the year costing GGG precious time as he nears the end of his good years, not to mention tons of money.
