I don't know about "they." I know Wilder traveled to fight Povetkin, but he was a PED cheat. Then Wilder was going to fight Ortiz, after he (Ortiz) couldn't get a fight with AJ while he was signed to MatchRoom, but he was a PED cheat too! Even after Ortiz failed, Wilder still gave him that work! Lastly, Wilder said he would come to the UK for 40%, Hearn countered with a flat fee! AJ said he would come to the U.S. for $50 million, and Wilder came through with the bag! Now AJ doesn't want the $50 million! I don't think we can put Wilder in the "they" category!

Ortiz was AJ's mando. If he hadn't failed another PED test - his 3rd failure - he would have been fighting AJ next, ahead of Povetkin.

Nah, Wilder's side didn't make an offer. Hearn made an opening offer of $12.5m

I'm a fan of Wilder's but realistically Joshua is the only challenging fighter who Wilder has actually targeted, so if we're being objective we can't say Wilder's completely fearless himself.
