Golovkin - Saunders does NOT sell out a stadium in the UK
It would definitely sell out the 02, or Manchester Arena.

don't dispute that but anything from 30,000 and above they are kidding themselves.

Who cares. A better question is who is he more likely to face? My answer would be GGG. That fight would probably take place in the UK.

If it’s Canelo it’s Vegas in September. If it Golovkin it’s in the UK, maybe in August? You know, depending on that hamstring rehab.

The meaningful numbers is ppv buys. Canelo gets over 700k for Khan, and gets an automatic 300k regardless of his opponent. g has had one ppv fight that didn't involve Canelo and got a solid 97k.

Canelo got 300k for freaking Liam Smith. Which your chart and post say that interest in g-Brook was close to the same. The fact remains, Canelo is a ppv fighter and g is not. If g would fight professional boxers most fights, he could be a ppv fighter. But he never has and never will, g lacks the cahones to dare to be great. And that is why everyone would make more against Canelo.

It is not half as close as you imagine. Liam Smith gets 300k and Khan gets 700k against Canelo. And regardless of any ******ed charts, the fact remains those are hundreds of thousands of people paying to watch Canelo. That g can generate almost as much interest when his fights are free, only shows the huge disparity between the two. Against g, the fight is on regular hbo. Against Canelo and it is on ppv and guaranteed to do at least 300k.
You should look into your so called "facts".

I was checking out those documents from the Haymon litigation. These are court documents & the facts can not be disputed. Canelo doesn't pay his opponents well, Khan only made 20%. You do the math if Golovkin pays you 40% vs 20% from Canelo, even if the ppv sales are twice as much, the earnings are still relatively the same.

"Alvarez-Khan generated revenue of $27,707,448 and was Golden Boy’s most profitable fight of 2016. Khan made $6 million and Alvarez made $13,309,664 (80% of the net profits) while Golden Boy made net profits of $3,327,415.88."

Live gate for this fight was $7.4 million. That means that the remaining 20 million was PPV sales
            20 million / 65 = 307K PPV buys.

Yes, some reports say the Khan fight sold as high as 600,000 buys, but others say as low a 332,000.

"HBO saying today they are not going to announce a PPV buy number for Canelo-Khan, but we have the number, 332,000 buys & that is horrible, that's why the "no-announcement," -Rick Glaser

Kell Brook vs Gennady Golovkin Purse Payouts:
Gennady Golovkin - Guaranteed $5 million (Golovkin is not getting any UK PPV share).
Kell Brook - Guaranteed $5 million (Brook might clear slightly more than Golovkin with his PPV contract with SkySports).

Canelo doesn't offer near the split of revenue as GGG does so their opponents income is not as far off as some seem to think.
Khan made 20% Canelo vs Jacobs who made 40% versus GGG.

So in your opinion he is more likely to face someone who many people think would get him less money?

Stopped reading after you used Glaser's numbers for Golovkin's fight 3 years ago to compare against imaginary ones you pulled out of your ass for Canelo-Smith. Not even the dumbest dog**** of a fanboy claimed Canelo-Khan did "over 700k". Oscar barely had the balls to say "it did 600k", while Glaser said 330k.

Not only did you miss the point of what was said, you proceeded to make up things and be allergic to facts.

Actually, why do I bother with this? Onto the ignore list with you.

I think he would make more money fighing GGG who would come to the UK to fight him. Oscar is really stingy when it comes to paying Canelo's opponents and Canelo would not come to the UK.

I think it helps to understand the business of boxing a bit better.

What if BJS gets a percentage of a Canelo PPV, though?

It's hard to completely avoid the business side of boxing these days, even if all one cares about is the fights.
