Canelo vs GGG purse negotiation idea

Alright, so Canelo wants 65/35
His way. Gennady wants 50/50. We all know Canelo is the bigger draw, though he did eff up their May fight, with or without meaning too.
I think they should make a compromise of
Canelo guaranteed 40%
GGG guaranteed 35%
And the winner of the fight.....
Gets the remaining 25%. That would be true prize fighting. If something happens, possibly a draw, then they each get 12.5% of the remainder.
Comment and discuss what you think about the purse split.

Nothing wrong with your idea but that kind of stuff never happen in boxing. I can't think of any important fight in the last 50 years in which the winner got extra money. Both boxers are always paid an agreed upon amount win, lose or draw. I think Oscar needs to offer GGG a 60/40 split in Canelo's favor instead of the 65/35 split in Canelo's favor. If he doesn't the rematch won't happen. GGG will make much less money fighting anybody but Canelo next. That works both ways and Canelo will make much less money fighting Spike than he would make rematching GGG even if he gives GGG a 40% or 45% split.
