  • Comments Thread For: Crawford: Horn Tougher To Fight Than It Looks From the Outside

Terence Crawford is well aware most boxing fans and media think he'll easily expose Jeff Horn on June 9. Crawford commonly is considered one of the top two boxers, pound-for-pound, in the sport. The former undisputed 140-pound champion dominated an undefeated title-holder in his last fight, before knocking out Julius Indongo in the third round August 19 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

"...over Horn, who upset Manny Pacquiao nearly 11 months ago to win the WBO welterweight title."

This kind of crap is irritating. MP has a loss on his record. A loss is a loss and as time goes by all the details get washed out of the conversation. To my mind this was no upset and Horn got a cooked hometown decision. Guess that doesn't fit the narrative of this writer with this story. Crawford should likely be an even bigger favorite.

I don't see it. Crawford will dismantle him round by round.

That said, it's good Crawford is taking him seriously. We've seen it all too many times when a heavily favoured boxer overlooks an opponent.

Horn's a C class fighter Crawford giving him a lil too much credit lol.. Spence would walk right through Horn KO in 5-6 rounds no question so it will be interesting to see what Crawford can do...

he's very smart to acknowledge the awkwardness and other qualities that make horn effective in the ring. quite the opposite of pacquiao, who seemed to completely underestimate horn, and u saw the end result of that. crawford has always appeared very intelligent to me. and a lot of u keyboard punks would be smart to take a page from his book- never underestimate a fighter. but if course, you're mostly a bunch of dumb mofos, so you'd never get that lesson, no matter what

Glad to see Crawford acknowledge that...I was impressed with how Horn consistently avoided Pac's left hand by moving to his left, especially early. He has some skills. Should be a good, tough close fight I think.
