Bob says he would like to see Pacquiao come down to 140 for Lomachenko! Why didn't he have Pacquiao come down to 140 for Crawford? Bob has Crawford fighting Horn @ 147. Why didn't he have Crawford face Pacquiao @ 147? Fighting Pacquiao would've done a lot more for Crawford, even in a non-title fight, than fighting Jeff Horn!

If Bob thinks Crawford is the next Ray Leonard, then it's his job to get TC a fight with Duran, Hearns, and Hagler! Thus far, for whatever reasons, that hasn't happened!
Because at the end of the day, a promoter can push for a fighter all they want, but if the fighter doesn't want it, then it won't happen. Case in point: Pacquiao doesn't want Crawford. I don't blame him, he's old and shot, and Crawford is a talented and top level talent.

I understand how much Bob wanted Pacquiao vs. Crawford, and that Pacquiao wants no part of it, just like Bob wants Pacquiao vs. Lomachenko, and Loma wants no part of it. I'm just saying that Bob has built stars like Oscar, Floyd, Cotto, and Pacquiao, but he needed good opponents for those guys too! Unfortunately Bob really hasn't been able to do that for Crawford! So Crawford may be another Ray Leonard, but at this pace, we'll probably never know! Same goes for Spence Jr.! If Haymon can't get him fights with Thurman, Garcia, and Porter, it would definitely limit Spence's career too! It sucks that 2 potential HOF talents can't get fights with "in-house" potential HOF fighters!

Crawford ready to unify 147, 154, then move to 160 and retire Golovkin.

LMFAO, but yea you aren't wrong. I've been noticing Arum's strategy for a few years now & there is no arguing that putting a great fighters name with his fighters name isn't a way to enhance his own fighters standing in the hearts & minds of all the cats reading or hearing Arum say these sorta comments. Its simple, but effective & I'm surprised more promoters haven't caught on & do the same. For example Canelo should be mentioned in the same breath as JCC Sr damn near anytime Oscar talks to the media. And numerous other possible uses for this tactic by other promoters.

There's probably been dozens & dozens of guys Arum has compared to Ali or other great fighters over the years lol. If I was a better google searcher I'd go over Arum's history with his fighters + his comparisons to Ali or some other great fighter that'd put what he does in better perspectative when looking at it from the angle of how many times he's said this sorta sh^t. Its really an interesting thing in the science of manipulation of the masses. Its some solid mind game type sh^t as far as I see it.

This is going overboard let's see how blood does it ww.w because there are more talented guys at the higher weight than what he was facing and what he dominated at 140... he's very talented and I do like his style of fighting and he should do very well with most everyone in that division except the possibility of Spence I think Thurman would stay away from him as he does Spence...
