Where would the extra weight come off?
Deontay talking about moving down to Cruiserweight once he unifies?

I was gonna ask this the other day I was thinking- if he moved down and unified the cruiserweight after unifying the heavyweight division- would that add to his legacy? Or would it be more meaningful to stay at heavyweight and continue as unified heavyweight champ.......obviously “if” he unifies the heavyweight division in the first place.
I was thinking I would probably think more of him if he stayed at heavyweight and dominated.... but I think history would see it the other way round -

It would add to his legacy for sure. The thing is, I think in time this will be widely regarded as one of the weakest eras in Heavyweight boxing. The winner of Fury-Wilder is going to be the highest regarded. AJ will be seen as a Heavyweight Jeff Lacy.Comment

He weighed around 215 his last fight and I guess it's his "fight night" weight since I don't see the interest for a HW to drain himself for the weigh in.
So he would just have to cut off 15 pounds just like Canelo does at 160, knowing it should be easier for a bigger man like him.
He doesn't really have weight to lose if 215 is also his fight night weight.Comment

sees broner and garcia getting credit for winning weak belts in other divisions instead of facing the best at their weight and wants in on itComment

Seems crazily ambitious, but I like that. The guy spent years doing little of importance, but he's now really going for it. Maybe he pulls it off, probably not. But, I like his attitude. A lot of in this biz talk but he's genuinely believable.Comment

The cruiserweight division could be tougher, but there has been talk of Gassiev and Usyk moving up so that would make it a bit easier. His power could be hard to take at cwComment
