This thread is sad and pathetic. Worse, it’s part of the trend from fans of ggg and Joshua.

These posters loudly proclaim these guys are a sides in certain fights with guys managed by Haymon, which is 100% fact. When ggg or Joshua choose easy opponents, these posters then try to make ggg and Joshua high risk b sides that aren’t responsible for a fight not happening. That is pure bullsh-t.

Charlo is the mando. If ggg and his team choose not to fight him and instead take the huge money fight with canelo , which is understandable why he’d choose canelo(any of us would), then he may get stripped. Charlo then gets a title fight.

If ggg chooses Charlo cool. If they don’t reach a deal it goes to the purse bid. Simple.

Charlo doesn’t have to beg ggg for a fight or go in the news or social media. What is annoying is soon as he does this genrick (the TS) will claim Charlo is faking and doesn’t really want him.

We get it genrick- you want to make it charlo’s fault if the fight with ggg doesn’t happen. Sorry that doesn’t work.

And, of course, he claims PBC is horrible yet when a promoter comes into some money, he wants them to steal that roster. I don't think he likes boxing.

The question raised in the original post is a prime example. You're asking if Charlo is trying to make the GGG fight? He's the interim WBC champ, next in line for GGG's most coveted belt. Golovkin either fights him or gets out of the way. That's a damn good way to force a bout with a fighter who is promoted by someone else on a rival network.

The elephant in the room is that, no matter what happens, Jermall Charlo could be fighting for the full WBC title next. The idea that he and his brother are lowly B-sides is laughable. They ooze star potential and their star is on the ascent. Everyone can see it. It's why promoters are tripping over themselves to sign them, so they can cash in on what's coming and claim they were the ones behind it.

I give the Charlo's one or two more fights before some see what's unfolding. They'll both have to go through hell (Hurd for Jermell, GGG/Jacobs for Jermall) to obtain it but after that, don't be surprised if they're calling shots.

Clowns like him would also say that Lara should move up to 160 and become GGG's mandatory if he was serious about fighting him. Charlo has already fought 2 mandatory eliminators with the sole intention to get GGG.

charlo has that larryx fanbase that just wants to talk about ducking and fantasy fights, once g beats him they will jump onto someone else like they did when jacobs lost and ask why g never fights the guys the want him to fight, best for him to never pursue the fight so that way he keeps the fans

Wasn’t GGG the mandatory for Cotto/Canelo for a while? And didn’t he get routinely criticized for not making more of an effort to get the fight?

Personally I hope Charlo pushes for this one. That’s a great fight.

I remember when Jacobs was GGG's mandatory, the usual suspects here were criticising Golovkin, rather than Jacobs, for not asking the WBA to order the fight!
