    What's a super fight these days? Canelo-GGG and Joshua-Wilder?

Nothing else is really a "Super fight" but it's a great fight that will do well in live gate, TV viewership and attention of Boxing fans. That should be good enough.

Fair enough. I think it will depend on how they are marketed. Right now, it's absolutely criminal how poorly many American boxers are being marketed. You'd think that after the success Floyd Mayweather achieved that it would open the gates for a new generation of boxers. What we have now though, are some great talents, that fans know (and care) very little about. I'm FAR more interested in Spence and Crawford than I ever was in Floyd but they aren't being marketed/promoted well, IMO.

Neither guy has a personality to sell the fight and people are acting like they are some damn prospects who need to work their way through the ranks for some exposure.

You really think that if you feed each of these guys a few more B level fighters that its gonna turn into some blockbuster fight? Errol spence is gonna suddenly turn into some crossover star by fighting people like ocampos and then berto/alexander winner (the rumoured next fight)? Crawfords gonna turn into the new mayweather by beating up jeff horn and then a few top rank nobodies?
Theyve already both beaten world level opponents and the fight wouldnt be huge so what exactly is gonna change?

Theres one fanbase between the two of them, youre not bringing two seperate hardcore fanbases to the table either. I think thats part of the reason the fights never even talked about on here yet weve had about 100 wilder v joshua threads going on for months now.

And if they wanted to build some interest in the fight they should be calling each other out, building a rivalry, not coming out with some bullcrap like 'im gonna take care of my side of the street first', you should be saying you want to take each others heads off ffs. Theres too many good fighters at 147 and 154 to be ****ing around building up some fight thats never gonna be a huge event.

(and dont give me some bull**** about promoters, if they want the ****ing fight they can get it. and in the case of crawford if you are gonna sign with a promoter that only feeds you in house scrubs then youre culpable if big fights dont get made)

2 undefeated fighters fighting for all 4 welterweight belts is the goal for bud and spence.

Thats why they are 2 of the baddest mf in boxing.

Legacy over everything, they dont give a **** about casual fans and extra ppvs. they care about being the best and they know they are each others last obstacle.

crawford is gonna beat horn and the pac/lucas winner and be the wbo wba champ.

spence is gonna beat the porter/garcia winner and be the ibf wbc champ

fall 2019 we get a real p4p king. this fight is for the hardcore, **** the casuals. they can have canelo/GGG

I’d rather see Spence vs Thurman or Garcia..

Crawford hasn't had a single fight at ww yet. His first fight isn't a cakewalk either, it's a solid challenge.

Give him a couple of fights to adjust. They're both young. No reason to rush. 2020 is a good year for them to fight. Maybe late 19

They are two extremely good fighters in everybody's top 10 pound for pound. That makes it a superfight to me anyway. I don't like waiting. The sooner they fight the better as far as I am concerned.
