i feel like people are a little desperate.... like, "what abooouutt THIS GUY!? GGG hasn't fought THIS guy!!"

there's always gonna be someone GGG didn't get round to fighting, but right now, I don't see how Charlo will add anything to GGG's resume
like i said previously in my post below....if he beats charlo theres still canelo and jacobs sitting there...saunders too....no one would have to call on any newcomer........that newcomer/up and comer stuff literally happens to any top level/great fighter......its a neverending game...anti ward fans pulled it with ward after kovalev...most of them swore ward was scared and didnt wanna rematch kova.....and kova was gonna end him...then it become beterbiev and gvozdyk....it happens to most great/top level guys

but theres still enough left after charlo for golovkin to tangle with that no one would need to call on a young up and comer

like i said....charlo vs. golovkin is a top 3 golovkin fight that boxing fans want to see......alot even would prefer it over a canelo rematch

so if it gets made then its a good thing..i def wanna see it....in fact id put saunders and charlo as my top 2 id wanna see...over canelo and jacobs rematches

its funny that you say if golovkin beats charlo it will be "well now he has to fight some young up and comer"...nah not really.....there would still be enough interesting things like saunders or canelo that we wouldnt need to call on some youngster

but remember when ward made kovalev quit and then ward was like "yeah **** this i aint gonna make this kinda money against anyone else...not worth it"...and the EE fanboys accused him of being scared of artur and gvozdyk?
inclined to agree with you there actually. the jacobs rematch is not that palatable, and the canelo rematch is as tainted as mexican beef at this point. so yeah, maybe a Charlo fight is not that bad, considering

a Saunders fight would be ideal tho

I'd go with Charlo. I think if they were to fight it would be at the right time and stylistically it favours Charlo.

For the first time in his career I think Golovkin would lose the battle of the jabs which is obviously a key part of his methodical pressure. After having his jab taken away he loses confidence as the fight wear on and Charlo has success with the uppercut following the sharp jab and his youth and physical advantages take him over the line. He may even drop Golovkin but it'd be a competitive fight maybe 115-112.

golovkin can dominate charlo and i would respect it...but you guys cant come out and tell us hes going to dominate every guy and expect that to be a reason for the fight not to happen

he was supposed to dominate canelo...and i dont care what you and the gggroupies say...he did not do that...didnt even come close to dominating him

golovkin vs charlo will be more competitive than lil gs last outing for sure
He wasn't supposed to dominate Canelo. The odds were very close. A lot of people picked Canelo to dominate and KO GGG but the best he got was a gift decision draw.

I can't see how Charlo really does well here. He's not really a skilled boxer so his only way of winning would be to outgun GGG but he doesn't hit as hard or as accurate and is a little sloppier in his style.

GGG would stop him in a fairly one-sided contest and would get next to no credit for the win. He'd be ducking the other Charlo or Jacobs or something.

Okay as long as he has your blessing I guess its OK if his career is cut short..

Charlo is still an undercard fighter. His best win is Austin Trout, he has not faced a decent Middleweight yet. Pretty sure he wont be ready when GGG actually says he needs a dance partner in September. #induetime doe

If the fight happens, GGG by knockout. Yes, even a 36-37 year old GGG will ko Charlo, Charlo will realize there are levels in boxing.
