They pulled the same sht on Canelo. He had a purse bid the same time as his court case on who was his rightful promoter. GGG wanted it to go to purse bid for the 55-45 split. Canelo had no other option.

As far as the IBF??? Thats on him. Sergiy said he was ready and willing take Vanes money. They could of even postponed the fight a lil. They chose Vanes even with IBF saying they would not sanction the fight...

The situations ain't the same, man. Canelo had the rules and regs laid out before him. They weren't suddenly changed (even if you accept that Golovkin was asking for the full mando split which I've not seen evidence of) in order to penalise Canelo. In this case the WBC seems to have reversed a previous decision simply to put pressure on GGG. And yes, IMO Golovkin should have fought (or at least offered to fight) Derevyanchenko, but the fight hadn't actually been ordered so he wasn't obligated to. The fact that the IBF are currently negotiating to force Golovkin to fight their mando indicates quite clearly where in the rotation GGG is... for the WBC to suddenly and unilaterally change that is, to say the least, very unprofessional.

WBC trying to use a foreign fighter who actually fights the best in order to build up a current or future North American money maker, just like HBO and Vegas tried to do with GGG-Canelo I and Kovalev-Ward I and II, just like they all tried to do with May-Pac (not the fight itself, but using the foreign fighter with an exciting style AND exciting opponents to build the name of the American boxer who didn't have an exciting style and was not willing to fight exciting opponents).

Same bull****, different day. I also want to see GGG-Charlo on a fair playing field but if the past is anything to by, this is just the start of the ****ery where they will try to screw GGG over in favor of building up a younger, North American star. That Charlo is advised by Haymon just makes it even juicier for the WBC which seems to be run by Al Haymon now. If people think Bob Arum's relationship with the WBO is bad, Haymon's hold over the WBC is twice as bad.
