What is about GGG haters that makes them so obsessed over GGG? There are more than enough threads to discuss this but op decides to make another so it can start up again.

Let me guess, like he ducked Canelo when he gave GGG his belt. Or when he ducked Canelo for their first fight or when he ducked Canelo before their scheduled rematch before Canelo tested positive. You sound idiotic. And you say venting as though that is mutually exclusive from obsession and like this need to talk about GGG day and night started yesterday for you guys. Your post history alone is probably 70%-80% GGG related. The first step is admitting you have a problem.Comment

I have a problem with ******ed **** gobbling fans like you. Golovkin is pricing himself out. EVERYONE CAN SEE IT, just his ******ed fans won't admit it.Let me guess, like he ducked Canelo when he gave GGG his belt. Removing bias on either end, I think it's pretty apparent Golden Boy have their September plan and it never involved GGG right away. I think the reason Spike O Sullivan turned down the GGG fight is because he was given a better offer (by his promoter) to fight Canelo in September. They have to paint the picture that they gave GGG this "incredible" offer as opposed to them flat out saying "We're waiting until next May to rematch GGG". Canelo hasn't fought in a year and is coming off knee surgery. Oscar knows they can still make some money (not GGG rematch money) fighting Spike O Sullivan and putting Canelo in a much less risky fight. I'm even saying Canelo should still get some what the Lionshare but if Golden Boy genuinely wanted this fight next they'd continue to negotiate instead of saying "Ahhh **** you we're done". Some of you lose your **** about Arum doing the same **** when it concerns his comments towards negotiating a Mikey vs Loma fight where he told Mikey take it or leave it but are OK with Oscar doing the same?

I honestly don't care if they don't fight in September, next May or ever, I don't have a horse in the race. But the fact is ALL of this **** is because of Canelo and team's negligence, yet it's GGG's fault for wanting some financial security being his money got ****ed because of Canelo in the 1st place.Comment

The bold: I used to say that, too, and I still don't care really, but the fans can't help but be involved because that's what makes or breaks fights. It's also something they can talk about if they care enough for the fight and want it to happen.Golden boy low ball offer, GGGs team make a high ball counter, they negotiate and meet in the middle... Or not. Why do so many fans care about earnings, splits, anyways lol. They fight each other, or don't other people, loads of fights in the division that are very intriguing.
The original poster asks the valid question whether GGG deserves 50% of the cut from the stand point of what each fighter generates. I must answer no (even considering what GGG brings non-financially, like belts, and the other saga).
I'd say 40% is a fair compensation this one time. I was actually surprised GBP even offered him 35% in the first place. If the sides can't agree, they can just STFU. That's my opinion, anyway, on this shitty story!
I don't care for the rematch. The first one didn't wow me much.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 05-29-2018, 11:26 AM.Comment
