You gotta give Canelo credit

How do you know he believed that, you make plenty of assumptions with no actual knowledge of what he was thinkingComment

There was no way in hell i thought he'd face GGG in September coming off a one year lay off & knee surgery. If Canelo wanted a tune up no one would blame him. But he stepped up and said let's do it again. GGG agreed, he even signed up for VADA 365 leading up to the fight. Then for some strange unknown reason at the last minute he wanted to change the terms of the agreement they had has decided to price himself out of the fight.
Kudos to Canelo for wanting to fight the best right out of the gate from a one year layoff.
This is such a troll thread dude. Canelo failed a drug test and now fighting him will cost GGG the IBF championship. So no, GGG doesn't want to fight under identical terms in September for what was agreed to for May before Canelo was caught cheating.
GGG wants reparations. Understandably.Comment

this dude is so on denial!
calling any other people GGG fans, groupies and all sort of stuff. Yet he is here being a fanboy of canelo and trusting whatever their camp is saying

a tool at its best!Comment

I remember seeing interviews with GGG that he had already stated there was only a 10 percent chance of the fight happening. This was weeks ago. He just stuck to his guns and said F this fight. His promoter wants this fight more than he does for the money. I think he was pretty much out for the rematch since the failed test and his original outburst. Who knows it seems like hes pretty fed up with boxing and losing the passion for it. He should probably retire.Comment

A year off is no big deal.Canelo only fights in May and September anyway. Every time he fights in September he has been out of the ring for 8 months. Some boxers only fight about once a year. As long as a boxer stays in shape and gets good sparring he can be out of the ring for a year and still fight very well.Comment
