    You gotta give Canelo credit

There was no way in hell i thought he'd face GGG in September coming off a one year lay off & knee surgery. If Canelo wanted a tune up no one would blame him. But he stepped up and said let's do it again. GGG agreed, he even signed up for VADA 365 leading up to the fight. Then for some strange unknown reason at the last minute he wanted to change the terms of the agreement they had has decided to price himself out of the fight.

Kudos to Canelo for wanting to fight the best right out of the gate from a one year layoff.

If the knee surgery was necessary, he couldn't have done the fight.
I heard it was just cosmetic.

How is GGG pricing himself out?

By agreeing to terms then at the last minute saying he wants 50/50. The fight was already set according to De La Hoya, Gomez, & Loeffler.

@ mcc for thinking clenbuterol hasn't changed the game.

Renegotiations happen. How many times did GBP need to renegotiate because Fatnelo couldn't meet the 154 max?

Tom confirmed what De La Hoya said

                  Tom Loeffler
“Both promoters, we’re ready to go to start promoting this fight. We’re just waiting on the fighters’ side, just to finalize any of the outstanding details there would be. … There is, for sure, a structure in place for it to take place – basically for it to be rescheduled from the May fight to the September date.”

Tom said last week the fight was basically a go. GGG even signed up for VADA 365 last week in preparation for the fight. For some strange reason he reneged on the agreement and priced himself out
