Get the story straight.. Canelo dodged GGG, infact WBC gave him a free pass if he fought GGG next. So GB cd have easily promoted the fight, but they chose not to, because they had no intention of putting Canelo in with GGG at that point.. It took Canelo a year to come up a lame excuse about the wbc and not fighting GGG.. ie his courtcase, which had really nothing to do with the WBC. But the real reason he gave up the belt was because the WBC chose to launch the CBP on the night of his fight with a pumped up Khan. This annoyed him no end and to avoid testing he became the first mexican to dump a title belt.
