Unfortunately i think gbp is more than willing to shelf the fight for another year. If ggg can get 40% he should take the fight cuz realistically, he probably doesn't deserve any more than that.Comment

Gomez is mostly being unreasonable here because he's telling everybody he wants GGG's team to accept the same exact terms from the rematch. That's how we know that they either don't want the fight (by pricing themselves out), or they're being delusional. You don't offer the same low-ball price after all the shenanigans and expect to get a favorable response.Comment

Canelo I'm a fan.. but I will tell the truth. You cheated. GGG found out you cheated now he wants more bread. Because he lost time an money preparing for you on cinco de mayo.. an had to fight a lesser replacement opponent which got him some serious ridicule..an GGG is paying the sanctioning fees for four belts.. an princess canelo.. wants 65% like he didn't just p*ss hot twice. Canelo needs to throw him a bone here and do 60-40 split. It's only right after the first fight was cancelled cuz of him.Comment

[QUOTE=chubuk7;18813408]So GBP is not going to counter by offering 42% , 40% , or 37%?
Negotiate
1. obtain or bring about by discussion.
2. find a way over or through (an obstacle or difficult route).
One side is still negotiating, the other is saying take it or leave it. At least it's clear who walked away from this fight AGAIN.[/QU
It's like he forgot everything that transpired for the May 5th rematch. His side doesn't have the same bargaining power anymore. SMH. De qui tu te moques?Comment

Previous articles made it sound like Golovkin and his team had agreed to the 65-35 split AFTER May 5th...as if there had been new negotiations that were agreed upon. Apparently that's not the case and GBP is looking pretty bad here.
I predict one of two things to happen here: They come to an agreement for a 60-40/55-45 split, or Canelo fights O'Sullivan. I lean more toward the fight getting made, but wouldn't be shocked at all if Canelo fights Spike.Comment
