Hearn, imo, would consider broadcasting fights for Duva because DAZN is looking for 16 US shows, and Hearn has basically signed no one yet (he may have quietly signed some folks, but we won't know until an announcement is made); Main Events gives him access to enough talent to run 3-5 shows in that first year.

DAZN needs content, almost regardless of who it comes from.

-Gary Shaw sold his company to Roc Nation (before deciding against it; haven't really seen any shows from Shaw anyway), and Schaefer was basically going to buy out Oscar's company until Oscar reneged. Most other outfits, in recent history anyway, ride it out and simply fade away.

Would Bob Arum not be tempted to cash in at this point or is he planning to promote till the devil comes to collect?

Duva could just do her own deal with DAZN. Hearn isn't in control of all boxing content for DAZN.

Bob Arum seems to have picked up a nice little nut from ESPN; if that deal goes bad (or ESPN simply decides to focus only on UFC), Arum basically wouldn't have anywhere else to go.

Maybe. I doubt Duva has the clout to get her call answered though.

Just shows Hearn's got his work cut out for him in getting into this market.

Be great to be a fly on the wall in the matchroom offices or to hear the reaction from some of the established players stateside for that matter.

Hearn has said he already gots the fights booked for the Sept. show which I believe is the first show & the first BIG show in November. Sounds like he gots 14 shows to come up with now. And its a solid bet if he gots 2 shows filled that means he gots 2-4 more filled minus a B side when the Sept. & Nov. winners fight again in the year a time or two.

Wasn't the issue there that RN was buying Shaw's promotion, but Shaw wasn't selling his promotion thus there was some confusion there about the situation.

So again, question for anyone, whens the last time a promotion bought another promotion?

I feel like some cats here talk about promotions buying promotions like its a regular thing in this industry when its not that I've ever seen.

DAZN's intention is to take out the competition, eventually Hearn's 16 shows aren't going to cut it. Others will come onboard. Dana White recently saying he was talking **** about the Joshua signing maybe a sign Zuffa gunna be there.

Man, if they pull it off, youll have a load of promoters with no network issues, working together. With WBSS competitions going off all over the place, finding out whos the best in the divisions.
