Everybody know/knew Floyd was a better boxer than Pacquiao. They just used him to get back at Floyd, most of them aren't fans of pacquiao, they're anti-floyd fans. If the biggest competition to Flloyd was a dead dog they'd root for that. Boxing now-a-days isn't about being a fan of the sport, or even a fan of boxers really. You find a guy you don't like, and then root for someone in his division who you hope beat him. Rinse and repeat until the guy you hate loses or until he retires. That Floyd/Pacquaio saga was some of the most pathetic fan display i've seen from either side when it comes to boxing. Also, Pacuqiao has never knocked out a Welterweight so I don't know why people thought he would knock out Floyd.
