Like it or not, Canelos reputation has taken a hit but he'll still pull down at least three million no matter the opponent and unless ggg fights Saunders, about 1.2 is all he will make. He might get two million to fight Saunders

honestly I think he needs to fight Derev to get IBF off his back. then go to Japan for Murata. if that fight is what they're hyping it as then GGG can return to the Canelo issue with numbers to back up his demands. Right now all they're doing is asking for "fairness" basically begging. Not a good sign.

Does he "deserve " 50-50 ?...Yes, BUT he should be willing to accept less. If he wins then he'll command bigger fight purses. This is GGG best opportunity to skyrocket his credentials and earning potential. He can make 5 to 8 times more money fighting Canelo than anyone else. Boxing isn't fair. GGG should accept the fight even if it's 60-40 in favour of Canela.

Team GGG should sue Canelo for damages and loss of earnings over the first fight, whilst unifying with Saunders in September. Canelo can fight Spike as intended.
