He would get quickly countered with multiple lawsuits from canelo Oscar retired fighter and GBP promotions for his defamatory statements saying canelo injected and took steroid pills at the weigh in front of 100 cameras was dirty for the first fight the glove bs Oscar and his company being dirty.ggg already hurt himself in the suit by fighting on the 5th and refusing to fight his mandatory leading to him getting stripped and the letter he had tom send to Nevada stating they must suspend canelo.canelos defence can be his knee surgery and the off camp clen traces in his system were from the meat from a country with a wide spread problem with vada Wada experts in the field concluding that all the evidence including the hair test points to accidental contamination.

...whether an act of vengeance, or legit loss of GGG revenue is moot. GGG ended up losing about 15 million dollars due 100% to Canelo/Golden boy failed drug tests. If you stick to facts germain to the issue, all the blame is on Clenelo's team. So if the rematch is 50/50, GGG's team is able re-coup some of his lost funds.... which is a fair and equitable outcome.

Pretty much. He shoulda scrapped the May 5 date altogether if he was gonna go that route. That ship has sailed...just take the offer that was already agreed to and make the fight so we don't have to wait a damn year.

No, I don't think he should sue him and he probably would lose the suit if he did. By not fight Canelo GGG will lose money compared to what he will make fighting somebody else. Canelo will lose even more money than GGG by not giving GGG the 50/50 split he is asking for. Canelo will probably fight Spike in September for a hell of a lot less money than he would have made for a 50/50 split rematch with GGG.

Link to steroid pills quote, never heard that before, as for everything else, there was never anything mentioned before he tested dirty so that shouldn't be an issue, he was dirty, FACT

                    He won't win.

UFC fighters get popped way too much for this to set a precedent, there might already be a provision in the contract where u can't sue over a failed test.

Should be interesting what happens, maybe this is what GGG team is trying to hang over GBP over the purse split.
