How can you consider 164 to be a serious offer to a guy who was having so much trouble making 168, his comeback fight had to be at 171?

On top of that, he had signed a contract to fight Chavez jr at 168 before this offer...

and wouldn't cut Brook one pound under 160 even though Brook was giving him the biggest payday of his career at that point. What Eddie did to Brook is criminal. Brook risked everything and got beat at the negotiating table when it was GGG who needed the fight.

ya man...that is pretty sad...but brook wasnt really doing alot or anything special really....brook had to travel for his title shot and was fighting guys like bizier, gavin and some guys who name looks like donut dan...and wasnt exactly making a ton of money.....but golovkin was probably more desperate for sure

He was about to unify against Vargas. Had he won that his career woulda been in a different place.

The IBF mandatory was Spence & I think the WBO mandatory woulda been Pacquiao

Horrendous when his team wsa on record the same year saying they'd fight Froch at the full 168 limit. I'm a 3G fan, but there's no worming out of this. He said anyone from 154-168, Ward called him out and the guy went on record saying "He's too much". Egg on the face moment.

And froch @ 166... which Froch countered with 172... which was shot down because even an old Froch still 172 flattens golovkin.

Brook's team had offered 157 a while before that, which was also turned down. Golovkin and his whole crew have been the biggest joke in the last 4 or 5 years.

Question really is: why the hell is Ward calling out little middleweights ? Its pathetic af imo...now if GGG called out Ward and Andre just accepted the offer then i would understand. Like i said before, Ward needs to have all the advantages before he fights someone, Thats why he didnt want the 164 CW. has he ever even fought outside the US ?
