We all know Canelo Alvarez is the super ultra mega star face of boxing. 65-35 seems pretty generous to a guy that sells 170k with a dance partner in Jacobs. Canelo sold 300k with Liam Smith ffs. If they're angling for 60-40 then maybe they can get that but obviously wanting any more would be just a blatant duck. Golovkin can fight Derevorywhatever next which is what I think he really wants. They have been wanting out of the Canelo fight because they know Golovkin is old and washed up. They wanna fight Derev, fight no hoper Murata and scramble away from the boxing game. I'm pretty sure they realize BJ Saunders would box their ears of at this point to as they aren't even trying to go that route after what they saw him do to golovkins doppleganger lemieux.

Realistically speaking 40-45% is the max he can get. No way GBP gives him 50-50. Regardless, if this one doesn't happen, I'm hoping for Murata in Tokyo. That is the way to go.

You realize they already agreed to 65-35 for May 5th right? Not really a slap in the face if they thought it was fair before...

65-35 is a slap in the face at this point but 50-50 isn't a rational request either. They'll find a middle ground. Too much money will be left in the table for both guys not to find a compromise.

Who justified it? Your dumbazzz said he lost the payday because of it no he didn't it was simply delayed until Sept. He has the same money on the table he just has to sign. If he loses the big payday it is because he is now willing to blow it up by asking for a ridiculous amount of money. Saying he lost the payday when it's still right there is BS spin to try and defend GGG pricing himself out the fight.

he doesn't deserve a 50-50 split but he deserves more that the 35 he would've gotten. Whether you're saying it's delayed or not, Canelo ****ed up the rematch. It wasn't postponed, it was straight up cancelled. It wasn't like it was an injury that got the fight postponed. The fight got cancelled because Canelo got popped. Therefore circumstances changed, Canelos reputation took a hit, ggg had to find a new opponent and venture in a months time. For those reasons, ggg does deserve more than what was previously agreed upon. Just face it, your boy and Oscar love to look for reasons to put off a dangerous fight for canelo. so sit back and enjoy Canelo vs spike, because it'll give you and extra 6 - 8 months of pretending like Canelo is boxings gift to the world before he has to get back In the ring with a credible fighter.

I wouldn't fight a drug cheat for 35% either. Perhaps you would bend over for the 35% if you were a pro but good to see GGG stand up against cheats. Boxing needs to rid itself of PED fakes. GGG wouldn't end up in poverty without Canelo so its all good. Boxing needs more standing up against cheats. The likes of Nery and Canelo deserve to be severely punished for the negative publicity they bring to boxing. Peace.
