Ideally, I would have liked both Wilder and Joshua fought other opponents on the other side of the pond to generate more interest. Maybe Joshua versus Miller and Deontay versus Whyte, that way both (provided they won) would have experience and confidence in either country. Povetkin is a dangerous opponent for either but at this stage of the game I think both Wilder and Joshua stop him more often than not.

I doubt there's anything to this, he's probably just trying to exercise leverage in the UK. There might be token discussions with Povetkin's guys, but he knows that the real money is in the Wilder fight in London.

This is on Joshua now, he only wants his home town , he can't deal with a different energy, his mental coaching may not given him the resources.
Wilder will grow 10ft tall in Vegas, it's a validation of his entire career and life.

This fight is too big for another UK fight, it's a world fight and belongs in the traditional home of heavyweight boxing. Think big Joshua, if he wins there he wins everything. History will remember it
