Ortiz never won anything or beat anybody in his whole career except a C level Jennings, and he needed steroids to do that.

So if one or the other wins conclusively in the first fight, we still have to endure the rematch? Seems a strange approach. Makes AJ and his team look mentally fragile, being so concerned about having a rematch in there.

Well he better f*$%ing get on it then because if they wait until they're both too old to make it a good fight they lose money. However much it seems to make in one fight, they still lose money in the long run because no one will care about seeing another fight. See Floyd and Manny.

Honestly, the way some go on about Ortiz you'd think he was a gold medalist unified lineal champ and future Hall of famer.

Both fighters will make a huge amount in the 2 fights. This is more about history and legacy for both. Would be fantastic for fans in both countries who can go and see a historic fight live for a fraction of the price that the big fight tickets have cost in Vegas for the past 30 years. Are you telling me if it was at Cowboy stadium or Metlife stadium and tickets started at $40 you wouldn't be interested in going?

Lets just do one fight at a time. Never understand these two fight deals people keep talking about, but never seem to get signed. Fair play for a rematch clause, but this goes above & beyond that as best as I can tell.

I'll go double or nothing on your epoints that Wilder will fight Joshua in the ring by the end of 2019. Assuming both keep winning of course. Even if they don't fight next I don't think they wanna marinate this fight past 2019.

Compared to Wilder's other opponents, he was.

That's why they're so euphoric and confused.
