Your boy is damaged goods .. severely damaged.

He was booed in the ring by his own fans after that rip off draw, and since then he's failed a PED test, withdrawn from VADA and been shamed into re-enrolling, and is currently suspended.

Would Canelo make more money fighting Spike O'Sullivan next than GGG would make against BJS in the UK or Ryota Murata in Japan?

Maybe, maybe not. One thing for sure ... he would make a ton more by rematching GGG than he could make against anybody else.
If Alvarez fought Vanes Martirosyan on three weeks notice, he wouldn't have been pushed out of Las Vegas, that's for sure. HBO would've still gone on with the PPV, and though it may not have done a million homes, it'd be far closer to that than people would expect.

Frank Warren's home arena in the London market is the 7500-seat Copper Box Arena; Eddie Hearn runs the 20k-seat O2 Arena. What type of money do you earnestly think Warren is working with?

Murata is building; moving from 10000-seat venues to having his first event in a 17000-seat venue is a good step (No idea how they're pricing things, but whatever); is Golovkin really a big enough name to move Murata to the 55000-seat Tokyo Dome?

Golovkin seems set on only taking the rematch for 50% of the take; there are easily 3 fights that put more money in Alvarez's pocket than giving 50% of the pot to Golovkin.

cuz it was a hot fight, not cuz of gggs fanbase... it wasnt gggs name , or else he would have fought vanes on ppv too without being kicked out of vegas...
cant even afford to pay his mando but he now deserves cotto type of split...

Did you fall asleep for several weeks there. No things changed. I mean you really cannot be this blind. I'm not saying 50/50 split but clearly there is a reasonable expectation that Golovkin deserves a bigger percentage given what transpired.

That's cool , but have Loffler put up the money and its no argument right? I didn't mean to jump in but people seem to act like there is only one promoter here.

If he doesn't care at all about his legacy or reputation that could be true. That is even debatable.

I do not know what hole some of you guys live under. He was not loved in Mexico even before the Golovkin fight and that has got much worse since the PED scandal.

If he does not fight Golovkin he will forever be the guy who cheated and still lost to Golovkin in most Mexican boxing fans mind.

Loffler is going to give up his money? How does that make any sense? It was Canelo's team who f'd up the last fight.

I think he should get 65-35 max including ppv split. Canelo is one bigger name by far. Cotto got that because at the time cotto was a big name and he brings money in/ ggg is a very good fighter but he isn’t the name that cotto was come on Tom let’s be real

I'm with GGG in this one, but the bolded part is crazy. 60/40 for Canelo is reasonable. Purse parity will never happen.

you really are the epitome of ******ity, it was Cotto who pay the step aside money, but your hate for Canelo is so that blinds you to the point to twist the facts.
