Golovkin seems set on only taking the rematch for 50% of the take; there are easily 3 fights that put more money in Alvarez's pocket than giving 50% of the pot to Golovkin.

cuz it was a hot fight, not cuz of gggs fanbase... it wasnt gggs name , or else he would have fought vanes on ppv too without being kicked out of vegas...

There's no need for Alvarez to chase Golovkin

If he doesn't care at all about his legacy or reputation that could be true. That is even debatable.

I do not know what hole some of you guys live under. He was not loved in Mexico even before the Golovkin fight and that has got much worse since the PED scandal.

If he does not fight Golovkin he will forever be the guy who cheated and still lost to Golovkin in most Mexican boxing fans mind.

I think he should get 65-35 max including ppv split. Canelo is one bigger name by far. Cotto got that because at the time cotto was a big name and he brings money in/ ggg is a very good fighter but he isn’t the name that cotto was come on Tom let’s be real

Canela does not deserve that fight. it should be 60-40 for GGG or half-and-half. It would be ****** for GGG to accept the same deal they made for May 5th. It’s not greed at all. The circumstances have changed. Golovkin already made 99% of the concessions.
