Hopefully, he wakes up before the dream is over. I have to hope he's smarter than this, for himself and for the fans.

So IOW, somehow YOU know GGG's financial situation? LOL!!!

The reality, friend... usually he grosses 1 to 1.5 mil per fight. And gross isn't net after trainer, taxes etc. Bottom line, Canelo fight is 8-10 times more than he usually makes = ****** to not sign for the it. Same thing with Wilder vs Joshua. Wilder is the B side of that one. End of story.

The real unfortunate part is that some people are still clamoring for it as if it's a match made in heaven or something. We've all seen the fight and one false move for Canelo, he would have been splattered on the canvas. It's a harrowing experience for him. Why let the poor guy go through with it again?

I don't think Jacobs would want it again without being paid 4x of what he got in the first fight.

Unfortunately for ggg, time is of the essence...and we wanna see the fight already. Take the damn deal you already agreed to and fight in sept so we don't have to wait another year. **** boxing sometimes...

Rooskie is a mild term at the very most. As a matter of fact, comedy shows back in the 60s used to call them that as a joke. Facts are above, what I originally stated. GGG isn't Einstein if he passes this once-in-a-lifetime treasure chest by. Go play your deflectorama elsewhere, friend. LOL!!!

All I'm saying is Mayweather is older than Pacquiao so your comment about Mayweather waiting for Pacquiao to get old to fight him makes no sense. Cause if Pacquiao is aging then so is Mayweather.
Think about it before you say that.
Okay I stand corrected about the age thing. The author of the article was saying that Oscar is following Mayweather’s playbook and I was simply agreeing with it. Mayweather despite his age is on an entirely different level than Canelo. But you’re right. My comparison concerning Floyd and Manny’s age was not accurate. I guess I got fired up when I read the article 😳

You willing put $$ on that??? HBO is not gonna sign-off on that. Theyve already lost over $50,000,000.

I don't know where you're getting the $ figures from but you're right, HBO is heavily invested in Canelo already and they probably want a payout soon. I still think Canelo's next fight is not going to be against any of the elite 160s and the GGG fight happens on Cinco De Mayo weekend next year. Canelo needs to gauge himself in the ring without performance enhancers. It's definitely a mental thing for him at this point. No one's arguing he is a great fighter but he probably wants to make sure he can hang with the big doges.

I actually don't know how this suspension thing works. When will Canelo's suspension end? When can he fight next again?

What happened to the days of fighting for THE BELT. For the name of being called a champion. The respect of being the best. Now it is about "I make more $ belt." I pay for watching a championship match. Not a money match.!
