Linares has been the only fighter to drop Loma. Let's see the rematch. I think Loma would win again but in a good action fight.

Malinaggi wasn't a year removed from 130. And Paulie could take a punch. Look at the beating he took from Cotto. Just correct me if I'm wrong. We're not talking about strictly skill, we're talking SIZE. and in the ring, Size matters. So basically since Lomachenko is pfp #1 and yall got him beating everyone thru welterweight, when will you start claiming he cleans out 154?Comment

Linares was koed, he got up but his hands were low if he did intend to continue he should got up with raised hands and walking towards the ref.
As for Loma his biggest problem moving up is his reach, he should stop at 140 and stay in 130/135 for a while.Comment

Completely disagree. In fact, this fight had it gone the distance would have been a draw. It was set up exactly the same as the GGG-Clenelo fight. And another female judge had Linares ahead. Linares was not supposed to be stopped.
De La Hoya, once again, rigged this fight.Last edited by istt; 05-26-2018, 08:34 AM.Comment

Agree. He should not go above 135. He really ought to stay at 130.Comment

Completely agree. He had no interest in continuing. Loma would have brutalized him. This guy is in serious denial. And some of you posters are too.
Look at the body language when he got up. The referee tried to help him raise up and he hunched over. Then look at him casually walk to the ring AFTER the ref stopped it. No argument. No nothing. Then you wait until after the fight to say the referee was premature.
This was the fifth NoMasChenko in a row.Comment

135 is his limit and even now there's the possibility of fighting physically larger men what a fight with Davis to me is very intriguing I would rather see that , but I wouldn't have a problem with Linares getting a rematch... the fight was even at the stoppageComment

QUIITTERRRRR!!!
You're not fooling anyone Linares!!!
best way to quit the fight is to complain that ref didn't give you enough time!
A liver shot does one of two things, it cripples you and you don't get up or it hurts bad and takes a little time to recover from. Linares made it to his feet so he could have continued and just bought time moving and protecting his right side. He didn't wanna fight anymore.
He stood in front of the ref bent over and waited him count to 10, what did he expect? Lol

Linares quit, he just did it in a more subtle way than others
but hey, at least he put up a good fight and took genuine damage before saying "no mas"
