Porter got this one! He performed better against Keith Thurman than Danny Garcia did and moreover, many fight fans believed Shawn won that fight.

On the other hand, Garcia struggled with Keith Thurman. He was buzzed early on in the very first round and was never the same fighter in that bout since.

It was a clear and easy victory for Keith Thurman over Danny Garcia.

IF you really know boxing, you will understand that Porter is tailor made for Danny. But there are a bunch of morons here that don’t know sh...about boxing looking at the comments.

Porter will come forward all night trying to rough up Danny, over power him, and lunge in recklessly often. That is how Porter has fought his entire career and he won’t change. Danny is a good counter puncher with a lethal left hook. It’s the same shot Broner landed and dropped Porter with. It’s a shot Thurman wobbled porter with also. He threw the left hook often and landed but he doesn’t throw it like Danny. As a matter of fact, Thurman spoke about his entire training camp strategizing to take away Danny’s left hook.

I don’t see this fight going 12 rounds. This will be the 1st time someone has stopped Porter. He will be lunging in and open to the left hook all night. And Danny has power in his right also. It will be Danny by KO late or Porter’s daddy will stop the fight late. If it goes the distance, Danny will win easily, not even close...

You make a good point but can Danny land his no look left counters; Let alone even hurt or drop Shawn Porter, while constantly fighting off the back foot and backing up on the ropes? Remember, that Danny is a mid range fighter; Meaning he needs enough space and room in order to extend and land his punches. While Porter on the other hand is a short range fighter who likes to fight on the inside and up close. Their styles favor Porter as Garcia cannot fight at short range.

Danny has beaten better opposition over his career-Guerrero, Peterson, Matthysse, Khan, Judah, & Morales. His only loss was to Thurman & he was very competitive in that fight also. Porter’s strongest wins on the other hand have been against Alexander, Broner, & Berto. Styles make fights. And I don’t believe people give Danny enough credit for his boxing ability and his ring generalship. I think he solves that Porter style with no real issues. But he won’t beat Crawford or Spence.
