I'm hoping for the WBSS to get a US TV deal, too many great fights to watch.

Why doesn't Showtime or HBO just stream these tournament fights on thier YouTube channels. What about Netflix? They have discussed doing live events in the past. This would be a great fit for all parties.

Excited about this tournament. Sadly most don't give a **** about these smaller Division but I think this Tournament is great for smaller divisions who don't get as much attention.

who are the other 4 guys? bums i guess.
In the other tournaments the unseeded fighters were fairly decent but never looked like winning.

Kalle Sauerland said they wanted to do at least one class of 160+ per year and they’re doing 3 tourneys this time. That makes me think 175 is the only viable weight.

Hopefully they get the winner of Nordine Oubaali vs. Petch Sor Chipatanna, the vacant WBC title fight.

And, what the hell, the IBO champ Michael Dasmarinas in there too.

The Ring and lineal titles are vacant, so this tournament should decide those.

Then whomever comes out of this will have the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO, IBO, Ring, and lineal titles.

At a minimum, Showtime should air the WBSS Jr. Welterweight Tournament! Prograis, Relihk, and Baranchyk were built on Showtime! I would rather see Mikey Garcia in this tournament, than a fight with Robert Easter Jr.! Omar Figueroa Jr. and Adrian Granados should jump in too!
