This makes absolutely no sense from a business perspective. Both guys would hurt their wallets and their promoters need to get these guys to put their egos aside.

This is a potential 9 figure fight. And if either decide to go another route and fight a Charlo, Jacobs, or Sergiy theirs a 50/50 chance that both will lose.

Canelo needs to budge a more than he wants because he was the main reason why May 5th didn't happen.

Now if he doesn't think it's fair that GGG has at least fought once since last September and he hasn't that's a different story.

GGG has been talking alot of sh/t about Canelo, some of which might legit be grounds for a lawsuit, but he forgot one thing.

Canelo is his golden goose, his nest egg payday, and while a loss to Canelo in the rematch would hurt, it hurts nowhere near as bad as the fight not happening at all.

Canelo does not give a sh/t about the IBF, or what it did to GGG, why should he? He was shamed worldwide, lost a ton of cred, he took a hit, still is taking a hit.

GGG is screwed, a bunch of young guys that want to fight him that won't make him much money, and he has his big mouth to blame.

BJS , DJ and Charlo to big of a risk for team Golden boy !!! I see Spike then BJS in December and if he wins the WBO belt then GGG next May for all the belts ..
When Floyd became the biggest ppv draw in the sport did he just give away the bigger piece of the pie to anyone? Hell no this is a business first and once he established himself everyone had to agree to his terms if they wanted to get that fight. Canelo is the biggest draw now that Floyd is retired and GGG has no leg to stand on to demand shyt. No ppvs can't even fight in Vegas venues without Canelo but he wants more money then the deal both sides already signed months ago? LMAO

This nodraw clown just fought in a 1/3 empty tiny arena making only 1M yet is turning down a career 8 figure payday because he wants more money yet doesn't bring anything additional financially to the table. He is too old to recoup the money he would be passing on and has a laundry list of high risk low reward mandatories he owes.

Oscar is full of it. Because of the drug cheat, you have to give concessions in the rematch. You would’ve had to do that anyway. Up the ante a little bit.

Bottom line: The bid was weak because they didn’t want this guy to fight G after a year layoff. Why do you think they wanted to prevent him from fighting in May?

GGG Camp very dissapointing. They wanna keep on KOing Bums like Vanes instead of playing Chess and Roulette with Canelo. Canelo vs DJ BJS is the next best options either or then a Charlo and thats a compliment for Charlo.

They can't tell GGG ****, they blew the last fight, their side, their responsibility. Frickin hate all this buck passing, it shows their level of integrity they don't apologise every time they mention his name. They need to man up and say they screwed up and will do what they can to get the 2nd fight made, GGG owes them nothing he prepared and was a professional during the whole debacle.

My favourite thing to do when Hoya talks is go watch him get tenderised for 12 rounds by Floyd, his arms windmilling away and his smug face being knocked back over and over and over OR Hopkins leaving him sprawled on the canvas, for a supposed all time great he had a real problem with counter punchers, even small ones.
