They could of chose a better opponent that the IBF would of approved, they could of fought the mandatory outright, or moved the date and fought saunders. GGG and nobody else stubbornly refused to take a real fight out of fear of losing a future payday. That fight was a joke and they had better options and now are using shooting themselvses in the foot with the IBF as an excuse to try and price themselves out? GGG should fire Loeffler that May fight was amateur hour and embarrassment taking GGG to a 1/3 empty stubhub and now he about to cost GGG his retirement money.
Of course GGG made sacrifices he's the B side no shyt canelo calls the shots he sells ppvs GGG doesnt that was always the case whether they fight in May or Sept he will always be the bigger star and take the lion share. 100% agreed. They would have taken the suspension as an opportunity to have time to see how Canelo looked off the juice. Obviously they seen very quickly the difference and have decided to go back to fighting lesser level fighters. I won't be surprised if Canelo starts trashing the WBC again and then withdraws from VADA.Comment
