These promoters can put this fight in any arena they want, shop the fight to television networks, they own Hearn right now, which is Hearns fault, he brags about billions of dollars but won't throw down for one his top horses.

If i am epic, stage the fight in Newark or CT, shop it the television rights, charge cheap tickets at the door, break even, which will happen, and bid on another fight, build the business.

Epic could become a major player here, i wonder who is behind this move.
Does the US even care about 2 European heavyweights without a world title? I know HBO aired Whyte/Browne by buying the rights at the last minute and that only did 387K viewers, so I'm not sure if a US network would even buy the TV rights.

As for the live gate is their a big Bulgarian population in the US, that's the only way I see it selling well in the US. When Wilder can't even sell 10K can't see how it makes more money in the US when Whyte is filling the O2 with 21K capacity.

Sky and Boxnation will of course bid for it, but won't pay much if it's in the US as that will kill ratings. I can see Epic breaking even if it's in the UK or Germany, can only see them making a loss if it's in the US.

That's the IBF rules when an eliminator happens between a fighter who is ranked in the top 2, in this case Pulev and a fighter outside of the top 2 it's a 75/25 split in favour of the higher ranked fighter.

So Pulev will get 3 times as much as Whyte. Hearn appealed to the IBF earlier this month about it and tried to get an exception as Whyte is obviously the much bigger draw.

It's also why they couldn't come to terms and the fight went to purse bids, Pulev and Kalle knew they would get the much bigger purse if they let it go to a purse bid.

Good rules......... The motivation should be there for the lower ranked boxers.

Whyte is not ducking Ortiz,if he fight Ortiz he probably won't get the chance to fight Wilder until next year since Breazele is the first mandatory but if he fight Pulev he becomes the mandatory to Joshua straight which is more money than Wilder fight, anyways i don't need to explain more for you Wilder fans because you don't always get it

AJ will beat both Pulev and Whyte the same night.

I hear some of you saying that Hearn was never gonna pay Pulev but he was always entitled to 75%, so he was only willing to pay Whyte 200k. Thats shady to me.

I dont care about purses, talk to me about potential fights.
Any combination of these guys will make me happy for their next fights.

                  Whyte,Ortiz,Pulev,
                  Miller,Parker,Povetkin

Stop with the fanboy sh it and lets demand these guys fight each other.
I think Ortiz and Povetkin are the only two who'll fight anyone.
Did I type this or did u.. lol. excatly.. I actually would like to see Povetkin vs Ortiz!

It seems crazy that Epic have bid almost twice as much as Hearn and Sauderland who are experienced promoters. Will they make any money out his as neither Whyte or Pulev are particualarly big names

The promoter behind Epic is Bulgarian, could be one of those vanity Ryabinsky type bids. Im not convinced the fights going to happen, neither Whyte or Hearn have acknowledged the purse bid. Can see them going elsewhere.
