John Wirt (former Don King attorney, CEO of RJJ's Square Ring Promotions, and apparently tied with Epic Sports) wanted to stage the Pulev-Oquendo fight in Chicago saying there was a large Puerto Rican and Bulgarian demographic there. Being familiar with that, he must see the same popularity formula with Whyte. Not too surprising, but doubling the fighter's actual promoter's bids? Interesting.

Whyte just showed the world how much of a true ***** that he is. Frampton ducked Rigo, the coward is ducking Wilder. Whyte said forget going after Wilder's title, the back door wasn't open. Ill go after old Pulev who I think that I can beat. *****...

Most of the time when you see that type of craziness, someone is bidding for the sake of bidding in order to "get their name out there" - like Roc Nation did a few years back when they bid some crazy amount for Korobov vs. Quillin.

The amounts are ending in $111 does seem fishy, like the two knew who was going to bid what.

Hey khunt, Wilder ducked Whyte and blew a $3000000 payday. If you're going to gossip TMZ style get your **** straight. LOL!! Wilder is the biggest punk in boxing-wants boxing welfare instead of fighting actual opponents. Ortiz doesn't count. You wilder fans are the numbest nuts on the planet.

Well it is a business after all, youve still got to make the money back, and he outbid Pulevs promoter. $1.5mil is pretty crazy for this fight, aint no way Hearn going to pay $1mil+ purse to Pulev.
