Bet Dillian is thrilled with his multi-billion $$$ promoter not being wiling to spend a nickel of it on him.
He’s not Whyte’s promoter and purse bid process is designed to get the boxers the highest reward, which worked out well for Whyte this time.

What’s interesting is that a new player out of the US is getting in on some Hearn action at the same time he’s intending to get into the US, got caught napping on this one. It’s obvious Hearn and Sauerland had done a handshake on who go this one, then they got ambushed.

I reckon the US guys are somehow looking at this as one off nice pay day in Bulgaria, a good investment rather than a big growth strategy. Either way good to see some new money come in, still a low pay for World level fight for Whyte but he’s gotta get back in the limelight.

I kinda don’t believe that billion dollar deal.

Epic Sports entertainment could be out of their league here. They've never promoted anything this big, they did Mayorga's last fight this year and that promotion looked cheap as anything, the whole ring was so bad it shook every time the boxers moved.

Also without Hearn or Kalle or a stable of fighters we can expect the undercard to be truly awful.

And how does this effect the exclusive Matchroom/Sky deal. if Epic sells the fight to another UK network? Would Whyte have to pull out if it's not on Sky?
this fight is coming to the United States, they won the purse bid, no need to stage it in europe, that would triple the overhead.

These promoters can put this fight in any arena they want, shop the fight to television networks, they own Hearn right now, which is Hearns fault, he brags about billions of dollars but won't throw down for one his top horses.

If i am epic, stage the fight in Newark or CT, shop it the television rights, charge cheap tickets at the door, break even, which will happen, and bid on another fight, build the business.

Epic could become a major player here, i wonder who is behind this move.

Lol Whyte is going to take a pitiful 300k all to duck Luis Ortiz. Pitiful just pathetic.

We all knew Whyte and Eddie Hearn were going to duck Ortiz. But going this route is just SAD!!!

I dont do the fanboy stuff. I just want Whyte to fight Ortiz or Pulev next. Of course he sees Pulev as easier but 300k is pitiful. Cant he headline a show in the UK? I hear some of you saying that Hearn was never gonna pay Pulev but he was always entitled to 75%, so he was only willing to pay Whyte 200k. Thats shady to me.

I dont care about purses, talk to me about potential fights.
Any combination of these guys will make me happy for their next fights.

                    Whyte,Ortiz,Pulev,
                    Miller,Parker,Povetkin

Stop with the fanboy sh it and lets demand these guys fight each other.
I think Ortiz and Povetkin are the only two who'll fight anyone.

Why would this be a 75/25 purse split when neither fighter is the champ?
