Wait. So Whyte’s promoter didn’t even put up enough money to have the fight in the UK? LOL. Dude was used as AJ’s human shield (or skirt) and now he’s thrown out with the laundry water.

Bet Dillian is thrilled with his multi-billion $$$ promoter not being wiling to spend a nickel of it on him.

Does it simply mean that Whyte won’t fight Pulev?

Honestly says how unpopular these two really are if such a small purse won it!

It was because of the purse split. Hearn was never gunna pay $1mil+ for Pulevs purse.

Have to see what they say, oddly may get Whyte/Ortiz come out of the situation.

Either way its a strange one as Pulev is his easiest way to a title shot (winnable fight and ibf enforce the mandatory) but despite the huge purse bid short term itll pay less as Ortiz at the o2 would due to the split, and be seen by some as avoiding Ortiz/Wilder which after all he has said would hurt.

Depending on how you look at it he either cant win or he cant lose by the path he chooses. Pulev easier fight with a good payday and huge payday v AJ but ducking Ortiz n Wilder means if Pulev wins hes finished at this level. Ortiz harder fight better payday then Wilder harder again and nowhere near the AJ payday but win and his split v aj goes up loads but chance of beating both to get here is slim.
