There's a big difference between paying to put on your own shows, and getting guaranteed purses.

There's no question that Hearn would probably pay them 3x more than what they currently could get anywhere else.

Depending on the ticket breakdown, Errol Spence Jr is basically looking at a $2m+ gate if he sells out the venue' 15000 seats.

Jermall Charlo takes one more stay busy fight, but he's getting his WBC mandatory shot next, before summer 2019, and for well more than $2m fighting Golovkin or Alvarez.

They make money outside of boxing too. That is one thing about Haymon fighters that keep them loyal. Look at Paul Williams for example.

The purse is not the only way these guys get money. He made offers to Mickey Garcia and had to comeback and offer more once he was told that he was already making twice as much. Once Spence gets though his fight in Texas than that will open the doors for the Charlo's to Main event there. Both are already 1 fight way. One can Unify and the Other can face GGG, or Jacobs. The ground work is already set that is why Top Rank and Mayweather also want to sign them. I'm Surprised Spence didn't do it yet, I seems like it would make the most sense.

Nice. Yea I don't think the Charlo's are getting the headlining fights &/or the push they should be. They'd be among the most win win guys for Hearn to pick up to help his US status + be good for the fighters to help push their narrative forward.

I wonder what Charlo's reaction would be when the first fight he would get from Hearn is Jacobs or Sulecki considering the stable isn't so steep for Matchroom. Sulecki might give him hell, his power at 160 is yet to be tested considering Centeno was brutally knocked out by the guy mostly considered "featherfisted"

Beyond that, their not running their own show; Haymon has things set up for co-promotion with an established company, before then going your own way when you have things figured out (Leonard figured it out for Mayweather Promotions, and Adrien Broner basically partnered with the original promoter who gave him his shot in Cincinnati to run About Billions).

$2m+ on the gate, let's call it $1.5m for Showtime's rights fee, another $1m on the international TV rights, call it $500k for the Corona sponsorship, another $500k in event sponsorship from the Dallas Cowboys and other sponsors, etc.

Deduct the cost of renting the venue, getting the fight legally sanctioned, marketing, Fight Week, etc, and you still end up with a nice heap of money left over after paying all of the outside parties.
