Comments Thread For: Tony Bellew's Trainer: Andre Ward is The Ideal Legacy Fight

David Coldwell, the trainer for heavyweight contender Tony Bellew (30-2-1, 20 KOs), would love to see his boxer step in the ring with someone on the level of an Andre Ward (32-0, 16 KOs).

Tony Bellend's legacy is making only one title defense in his whole career against David Gayes lover 'Blow-Job' Flores for the WBC cruiserweight title ; AND a split decision vs. Nathan Cleverly ON PPV.

If there only was Belt on a table for this fight SOG would jump on that fight right away.

Andre Ward is a 175lb fighter and not even a big one, Bellew is a 6'4 cruiserweight and pretend heavyweight.

His legacy fight is winner of Usyk vs Gassiev, he loses to both and Gassiev will punch holes in him and he probably knows this.

This guy thinks he can bulldoze his way through Ward with the size difference. Why not fight the winner of Gassiev/Usyk?

What incentive does Ward have to come to the UK to fight Tony Bellew?

When you put "Legacy" and "Bellew" together, well... signs of the times I guess. (Proves how amazing Hearn is; selling you an Opel and making you believe it's a vintage Ferrari)

The Little bald ferret wants him to face ward or fury cos its a huge payday for penfold either would knock bellew into retirement dont give him anychance v either he should step back down to cruiser fight super series winner most likely uysk give him a good chance in that fight. But no chance v ward at any weight and fury way to big and pretty fast for a near 7 foot monster

Bellew should fight the winner of the WBSS tournament... ie Usyk or Gassiev.

Bellew may also try his hands on Yunier Dorticos aka the Knockout Doctor.
