The thing that was inspirational about him was the fact that he was a nice guy and very much a gentleman. It showed me that you dont have to be a street thug to be a good or tough fighter. You can have class and carry yourself with pride as a gentleman. Hilmer is class all the way through. I havent seen him lately but he is still an inspiration. He was involved in the government in one way or another in the stae and was running for office again. Im not sure how he made out. One cool thing with Hilmer too is that he was an announcer in one of my pro fights that was televised. He said alot of cool things about me and just made me sound good. And in my humble opinion I was back then. Anyway, Hilmer was the most inspirational for me.

He came in at 166, that's Supermiddle weight. Lampley said that he came in with 19 extra pounds on him.

The posturing was never an act though with Eubank, it came naturally and he couldn't help it. The passion he showed was because of the sheer time and effort he had spent learning the craft, wanting to make something of himself. He wasn't all bad.

Thats easy... Bernard Hopkins... this man had a rough start in life, went down the gutter, and somehow turned his life completly around.

U have to respect his metal game. I like his persona much more than i like him as a fighter.

And how can i forget about my boy Diego "Chico" Corrales.... his ability to fight through pain and willingness to engage in battles is amazing. He has the biggest HEART in the game and one of thee top p4p hardest puncher around.

He makes me proud to say Im from South Sac... This man will NEVER quit... When Chico says he's willing to die in the ring i truely believe it.... u cant say that about other fighters who say the same.
